We are currently looking for Global Enterprise Solution Sales Strategists to join our Global Domain Strategist Organization who will be focused on delivering Enterprise application workloads, Converged/SDx, BigData Analytics and Private Cloud solutions.  These positions work remote and can be based anywhere in the APJ, EMEA and LATAM regions.


This position will be part of the Global Domain Strategist organization which is staffed dynamically & will adapt to resource constraints, shifting customer needs & break-out industry innovation on demand.  We have specialists in all major lines of business within the enterprise, each with a primary & complementary secondary area of specialty.  This position holds an elite level of competence within the Enterprise discipline with a strong bent towards practical industry vertical sales enablement


You will utilize your expertise to assist in deploying customer solutions focused on Business Intelligence & Big Data. The Global Solution Strategist Organization focuses on cultivating strategic positioning by working with Dell product groups. To deliver consistent messaging, training and support for sales globally, sharing best practices and enhancing knowledge cross-pollination globally & with key alliance partners.

  
Role Responsibilities
 
  • Cultivate global enterprise positioning and strategy for their selected solution discipline
  • Interconnect with global business units, marketing, training and services groups at Dell to establish comprehensive solution set with a focus on market differentiation
  • Expected to stay current on technology, competitive marketplace & provide constant feedback to global product groups and regional sales team on emerging trends, risks and provide recommendations
  • Will be a solutions evangelist which will include presales training, creation of mixed customer communications via Account Executives/Internal Sales Reps, System Consultants or Domain Sales Specialists/Engineers or Channel sales, ensure consistency in messaging and positioning
  • Will be engaged on large sales opportunities to provide their area of expertise knowledge
  • Advance Dell ESG solution and business value industry exposure / presentation and speaking engagements across key industry events, establish & foster relationship with global industry
  • Gain feedback from global business units to identify, resolve and share challenges and best practices across geographies to accelerate their respective solutions domain revenue
  • Foster and persuade collaborative presentation opportunities with key alliance partners
  • Work in partnership with 3rd party alliances to improve joint solutions and better optimize product sales

  •         10+ years of experience IT experience in a business development and/or pre-sales engineering capacity in the information management space, such as data warehousing, data modeling, data governance, etc.
  •         5+ years with architectural and in-depth technical experience in atleast 1 of the following areas: big data technologies such as Hadoop /HDFS/Hive/Pig/Spark, Cassandra/HBase/MongoDb non-relational databases, OLAP using SQL/Oracle, SAP HANA, Statistica/Other data modeling tools
  •         Experience working as a part of a global team and owning/driving a global business development/sales or marketing plan is a must

    The Role
    Executive (SAP BASIS)
    You are responsible for providing technical services in the installation, upgrading, maintenance and enhancement of the Co-operative’s SAP systems. You are required to continuously strive to adopt SAP best practices, streamline, innovate and value-add SAP offerings to our customers.

    Requirements
    • Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or related IT discipline with minimum 3 years of experience as SAP Basis Administrator for at least 1 lifecycle implementation
    • Preferably with experience in SAP ECC6.0 and SAP authorisation as well as working knowledge of Oracle, SAP Sybase and SAP HANA
    • Familiar with SAP Basis lifecycle activities, SAP XI, SAP EP and SAP BW support experience

    Presales Senior Specialist/ Cloud Architect SAP - Singapore

    PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
    We are looking for highly motivated and customer-focused team members to build the SAP HANA Cloud Platform (HCP) Presales team.
    Act as a primary point of contact for the customer for technical topics working closely with all the other internal teams. Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for the customer on the HCP topic and its offerings.

    EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
    This is a customer facing role where you will support the sales teams during entire cycle of a HCP deal. Following are the key tasks that this role will perform:
    1. Present in detail the HCP offerings and value proposition to customers (usually to CIO’s, IT managers, data center managers and SAP Technology staff) and partners (usually developers and integration specialists, and/or SAP cloud solution resellers)
    2. Demonstrate the capabilities of HCP
    3. Work closely with the SAP Customer Solution Managers and Presales Specialists to Architect the solutions for the business problem using HCP
    4. Blue print customer requirements around integration, Business Continuity, Security & Compliance etc.
    5. Support and organize technical responses to RFP / RFI’s
    6. Lead and orchestrate successful delivery of Proof of Concepts
    7. Support Sales team to generate pricing and provide ongoing deal support to sales and partner teams.
    8. Own the technical discussions with the customer on the HCP topic and act as the orchestrator of experts to obtain expertise from HCP organization as required.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
    • Very high proficiency in customer communications, presentations and demonstration is required.
    • Good experience in development, preferably Java, J2EE, HTML5 etc and strong exposure to Service oriented Architecture
    • Good exposure to SAP Business Suite Applications or Cloud Applications
    • Experience in and/or willingness to supporting Platform As A Service (PaaS) business development & deal support
    • Exposure to NetWeaver / ABAP is desirable
    • Exposure to architecting customer solutions preferably in Big Data or Internet of Things using PaaS offerings is desirable
    • Ability and willingness to undertake customer related travel on short notice.
    • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Business Administration required from an accredited university.

    WORK EXPERIENCE
    • 8+ years of hands-on customer facing Technology Consulting and/or Presales experience (eg. PaaS, Big Data, Integration, Enterprise Software Development etc.)
    • Experience with other PaaS services is a BIG advantage; SAP-specific skills would be very helpful but not mandatory.
